3-1-07    What has been happening lately?  Patrick quit again.  This time he is pursuing race car driving.  Oh well, work is continuing on the new Silence Syndicate album.  You can go to  www.myspace.com/silencesyndicate to check out two of the finished tracks - "Raven Song" and "Your Only Killing The Ones You Love".  The new video for "Raven Song" is posted there also.  The video will air on Direct TV's "Channel 101" and will be featured on Silence Syndicate's upcoming DVD "60 Minutes".  In other release news, VD Records' "Volume 1" compilation comes out on March 6.  The disk contains tracks from Sunday Invasion, A Collision Of Conflict, Mournblade, Brad Jones, Sanity Lost, Silence Syndicate, H2Xero, Red Earth, Jason Sturges, Vinyl, Alex McGinnis, Eric Watts, Sound Craft,  and Evolution.  At www.myspace.com/vdrecords you can sample these great bands and find links to their myspace pages.  If you are interested in being on one of the upcoming compilations, hit them up there.

2-23-07    Silence Syndicate vocalist/guitarist, Jason Nations, became a new father by welcoming his son, Asher Mikhail Nations, into the world.

1-20-07    Sorry it has been so long since we provided you guys with updates.  Things have been crazy.  Satellite television provider, Direct TV, has signed a licensing agreement with Silence Syndicate for four songs.  These songs will be used Project Myworld and other programs on Channel 101 this season.  They have also requested a new version of the Raven Song video to be aired on The Fizz.  In addition to filming and editing the video, Silence Syndicate is currently in the studio recording new material to be released later this year and will have a track on VD Records upcoming compilation cd.  The shows last week in Fayetteville and Hickory North Carolina were awesome.  We want to thank everyone who came out to The Underground and The Rock Shop and send a special thanks out to Stress Related.  Those guys make us look bad.  Because of these projects and impending child births, Silence Syndicate is taking a break from the non-stop touring schedule and will resume in April.  So get ready.  It's on.

12-4-2006    Sunday we had a photo shoot that went well.  Unfortunately, three rolls (including pictures of SS hanging out with Silent Civilian and Brad Jones) of film were destroyed while being developed.  Oh well, it happens.  Check out some of the surviving pictures at www.myspace.com/silencesyndicate.

12-2-2006    Tonight we did the acoustic set at Aurora Coffee house in Atlanta.  It was a lot of fun.  We always enjoy being there.  Brad Jones hosts and opens the shows.  If you haven't heard his new CD, get a copy of it.  It is great.  In case you haven't noticed we now endorse Knucklehead Strings.  They are awesome.  Thanks to everyone who came out tonight.  We will do it again soon.
